Will the much anticipated diving operations start today ?
This is what everyone has been asking themselves. The navy has now promised to take action. We are a little apprehensive when we enter the port with our equipment, but the miracle occurs: there is a navy zodiac waiting for them.
The diving club L’Espadon provides the team with cylinders and showers.

The high-speed motorboat Ras Tekkouch waits at the quayside with a reduced crew and the team of the GRAN. Everyone knows eachother now and the team has gelled and works well when operating the magnetometer.

There is a little problem to control the vessel on the lines but this problem was solved.

Suddenly, a zodiac of the navy with our two professional divers, Jacques and Joe, comes close to us. They used the GPS to place markers on the detected points the day before and were thus prepared to work this afternoon.

After a short pause the activities continue the high-speed motorboat carries out four more lines on the approach to the coast. A team dives on the two reference points.
Despite a northerly wind the divers still manage to locate a metal mass. But this is of no interest for our project.

We are optimistic by the end by the day because we finally dived in bay and the view of the city and the sea looks rather fantastic.
