For a few days, the turtles have been more numerous to come to lie; in the end of last week Jean-Michel counted 31 of them, only in one night.
At 11:00, things become clear, the plane should settle at about 12:45. The lunch is advanced of fifteen minutes.
At 12:30, radio contact with the plane, which appears fifteen minutes late as planned, it makes two turns of the island to take note of the lane and settles gently. It is a plane of the Mauritians Coast Guards, a Dornier 226. It immobilizes on the lane and Yann Von Arnim comes out, received by the whole team. The military crew and some passengers go around the station, the archaeological site of which two buildings are still clear. We also show them some of the objects found on the site. |
