- Near 400 listed object -

05:00, large agitation around the site. We decided to benefit from the first gleams of the day to take a second series of photographs of all three buildings. Each one seeks a high point and, camera or photo camera in hand, tries to find the best point of view.
The results are very good and will enable us to show what makes this site important: extent and the quality of the occupation of space.
It is a superb archaeological site but also a place of memory, like the few that exists.

The inventory and the last photographs of objects are made in the morning. Nearly 400 objects were related to the inventory, all, of course, do not have the same interest, but each one of them punctuate the life “between brackets” of our slaves. The cases and the canteens pile up.

Full with enthusiasm, the pupils of a class of CM2 from Semoy, close to Orleans, send us series of questions curious and full with freshness, we will answer them.

We await Yann Von Arnim which must come from Maurice at the beginning of the week; the poor guy will thus have known only the ungrateful part of the excavation.

The sum of the approved efforts flows back with the relaxation and the feeling that the end is near of this second adventure. But we also know that the last blow will be hard. Because, in the enthusiasm of the discovery; we opened a large construction site. It will be necessary to handle the shovel without the pivot of curiosity. But the team is overflowing of energy and doesn’t need help to know what to do.
