New turtle put in the net to be saved

A new rescue during our breakfast time. Jean-Michel calls for help, a turtle was mislaid again and it is necessary to set up a new operation.
This time, everyone is well prepared and, in a few moments, with a found strength, the turtle plays about in a sea more agitated than two days ago. Indeed the wind rose and the blades fall down violently on the beaches. The heave carts again the sand of the northern point. Charged with sand, the sea takes a turquoise colour and is rolled up like a scarf around the point.

In the morning, last scouring are carried out, the site is pampered in anticipation of the photograph sessions. Spring cleaning all around, we withdraw stakes, covers, concrete-reinforcing steels, a coconut planted by the weather forecasts, which is very close to the site, even was entitled to a special treatment: to prevent that its palms do not obstruct the photo shooting, we made him a splendid chignon.

The main generator had to be stopped this morning; one of its mounting flanges gave way. As the wind mill is also damaged, we pass on to the emergency power unit. Small inconvenience, the tent and the building where the team stays will not be fed any more in electricity. The refrigerator is not supplied any more either and, in addition to boxes of fruit juice and other drinks, we kept in the, freezer, a dead bird, intended for the Natural history museum of Paris. We found it at the foot of the wind mill undoubtedly hit by one of the pales. Radical solution: the refrigerator is charged on the tractor, then brought closer to a supplied socket-outlet.

The uproar of the northern point

It is the moment of the last observations, of last calculations. We turn around the vestiges while seeking to tear off the last information, last evocation of the life of our abandoned. As usual, if we answered many questions, others, numerous and more detailed appeared which are going to follow us for a long time. Everyone turns to me and already speak about a third campaign.
